Dmitry "Fishman" Polishchuk, the captain of
Cloud9, revealed that their organization paid for separate apartments for their players to ensure better conditions than those of the other participants at The International 2024.
The esports player shared this information on his Telegram channel.
"Cloud9 additionally paid for separate rooms for our team. I just found out about this now. It seems that players from other teams are sleeping two to a room. Respect to the org"
Fishman admitted that he was surprised by the organization’s gesture and expressed his gratitude for the improved conditions at the tournament. He was particularly surprised to learn that other teams would have to share rooms, something many participants at TI13 have complained about.
It’s possible that after Fishman’s comments, other clubs might also seek to provide better accommodations for their teams during the Dota 2 World Championship.
As a reminder, Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov recently named the top contenders to win The International 2024.
