Alpine CS2 ban

Timur “g3om” Aisin, the creator of the Alpine map, received a VAC ban in CS2 right in the middle of a match on his own map.

The developer reported this on his X page.

“I literally got VAC banned on my own map haha-ha”

Apparently, this is a mistake, since it’s unlikely that someone involved in developing the game would be using cheats. It is also notable that the map appeared in the map pool just a few hours ago, and its developer has already received a ban in the game.

Most likely, the ban should be lifted soon. It is also worth noting that many users are complaining about false bans being handed out by the updated anti-cheat system in CS2.

Recall that earlier a major CS2 update was released with the new Anubis, skins. and the start of Premier Season 4
