A major CS2 update has been released with a new Anubis, skins, and the start of Premier Season 4

Valve have finally released a major CS2 update, which not only launched Premier Season 4, but also reworked the Anubis map and added new skin collections — Achroma and Harlequin, as well as a new unique skin, AK-47 | Aphrodite.

The full list of changes was published on the game’s Steam page.

General changes:

• Premier mode Season 4 has begun;

• Anubis has been added to the active map pool;

• Train has been removed from the active pool;

• StarLadder Budapest Major capsules are now sold with a 70% discount;

• Base ranks for maps have been recalculated;

• Old ranks are temporarily hidden and will appear after the required number of wins;

• MP7 and MP5-SD: damage increased, price reduced by $100;

• PP-Bizon: price reduced by $100;

• Jumping and bunnyhop mechanics have been fully reworked;

• Jumping no longer affects stamina;

• Added the sv_legacy_jump option for private servers;

• Audio latency has been reduced;

• Knife and weapon sounds have been improved;

• Knife hits are now differentiated by attack type and direction;

• Ambient sounds no longer restart when changing areas.

Anubis has not only returned to the CS2 map pool, but has also undergone noticeable changes. The developers reworked the middle of the map and made adjustments to the A site.

Along with the update, new skin collections Achroma and Harlequin were added. In addition, a limited AK-47 | Aphrodite skin was introduced, which can be purchased for 125 stars.

Map pool changes

Valve removed Golden, Palacio, Agency, and Rooftop from rotation. They were replaced with Warden, Stronghold, and Alpine (Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch), as well as Sanctum and Poseidon (Wingman).
