NS explained why he is no longer invited to TI

Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov stated that since 2017, the streamer has gradually increased his criticism of Valve, which is why he eventually stopped being invited to The International tournaments.

The streamer spoke about this on Twitch.

"There have always been people who, let's call them figuratively weak. They are afraid to say anything, to criticize in any way. They either remain silent about something they don't like, or praise when they like it, or express themselves neutrally.

I've been criticizing Valve my whole life, constantly. And sometimes in very unflattering terms. In general, no company would like that. Why invite someone who constantly criticizes you? They may not have known for a long time, but then someone told them. I've been criticizing Valve since 2017, maybe even earlier. I started little by little, with a little criticism, then more and more actively."

According to Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov, when he was not invited to TI10, it upset the streamer a little, but he was already prepared for such an outcome, so he decided to organize a community cast, which he did not regret, since the amateur broadcast turned out to be much more interesting than the standard stream from The International.

"Basically, the fact that I wasn't invited to the 10th Int was, of course, a little upsetting. It was a little unpleasant. I was always invited, so why am I worse than the one who was invited? But there was already a period when I was half indifferent. We very quickly put together and implemented an idea that had been around before — to hold a community cast of The International. I can say that no one regretted anything. It was obviously cooler and more interesting than going to The International again and farting into the microphone according to the template, as was always done. It worked out very well for me personally."

As a reminder, Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov previously pointed out a mistake made by Valve that had a negative impact on the development of Dota 2.
