Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov said that the overloaded schedule of tournaments has led to the fact that cybersports players play sluggishly, comparing it to working a shift at a factory. According to him, the situation is only getting worse.
The streamer said during a broadcast on Twitch.
“The oversaturation of endless identical tournaments affects the scene worse and worse. Yes, closer to the final games of tournaments, somewhere in there in the playoffs, players usually wake up, the beautiful Dota begins, the excitement awakens, but a lot of things that precede it are quite depressing, of course”
According to the former cybersportsman, this can be seen in DreamLeague Season 26. NS noted that the participants play without gusto, but only for a tick.
“Watching DreamLeague today and caught myself thinking that players from many teams look like sleepy flies - the game without fire, creativity and emotion. It's as if they are just doing another number - somehow we'll play back and forth. Like a shift at work and go home. Some of the actions of very skilled players look as if they just ***, very arcade, but not beautiful-arcade, when a high risk is followed by a potentially high reward, but rather on the principle of “dementia and courage””
Recall that earlier Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev made a new announcement about his return to the Dota 2 pro scene.
