Groove Commented on 1win’s Triumphant Victory Over Team Spirit

Konstantin “Groove” Pikiner stated that 1win was able to defeat Team Spirit at ESL Pro League 24 thanks to two months of high-quality preparation.

The player shared this opinion in an exclusive comment for CyberMeta.

“Our victory over Spirit became a reality thanks to two months of preparation for the EPL. We worked hard, held several boot camps, and put in a lot of effort to ensure we were in the best possible shape heading into the ESL Pro League.

There wasn’t any specific preparation just for Spirit. We prepared exactly the same way as we do for other teams. Besides, the ESL Pro League field was so strong that you couldn’t afford to single out one team as special while ignoring others. Yes, without a doubt, at the start of the EPL, Spirit is the number one team in the world.”

Acording to Konstantin “Groove” Pikiner, the team did not conduct any special preparation for the match against Team Spirit. The roster prepared for this series just as they would for any other, but the high-quality work on their gameplay leading up to ESL Pro League 24 helped the team suceed against the top favorites.

As a reminder, Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov previously addressed Team Spirit’s haters amid criticism of the team.
