Arman “Malady” Orazbaev considers Vitaly “Save-” Melnik’s move from support to mid to be a mistake.
The player shared this opinion on YouTube.
“I think Save is a really solid laner, but after the laning phase, BETBOOM Team plays somewhat aimlessly. Based on my experience, I’d say switching from the support role to the core role… I don’t know, it just doesn’t seem to work to me. I can’t even recall any pro players who’ve done that and been successful.
Switching from carry to support, on the other hand, is a smooth transition. I don’t know, but I think they’ll change this around. I think Save should be in the off-lane. They should either bring in a mid laner or wait for Gpk. I don’t know how TorontoTokyo will affect this lineup. Changes are always good if, say, last year’s results weren’t satisfactory. Replacing the coach is a good idea, but Save needs to be moved back to the four position.”
According to a statement by Arman “Malady” Orazbayev, the esports player has seen many examples of successful transitions from the core position to the support role, but can’t recall a single instance where the opposite happened. Malady believes that Vitaly “Save-” Melnik would be better off returning to the support role, while
BetBoom Team should find a new strong player for mid lane or wait for Gpk’s return.
As a reminder, Vitaly “Save-” Melnik previously explained the reasons for his transition to the mid lane role.
