NS explained how it may soon be possible to earn money on another Valve game

Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov believes that if Valve really plan to stop releasing cases in CS2 in the near future then it will be possible to earn a lot of money on them because they will become several times more expensive.

The streamer talked about this during a Twitch broadcast.

“I heard a rumor that cases in CS2 will no longer be added — so it’s actually the opposite you shouldn’t sell them. This is not a recommendation but logic suggests that you should buy. If cases are never released again then cases become a non-replenishable asset that will no longer drop. And that means their price will always continue to grow. So the logic is this if they are going to remove cases someone definitely believes in it. Well not exactly remove cases but remove the system then it turns out you should buy up cases instead”

NS noted that for now these are only rumors however allegedly Valve may remove the case system from CS2 which could cause them to rise in price. The streamer stressed that there is still no confirmation of such plans but some players already believe it and cases may start getting more expensive.

He also noted that he is not giving any recommendations but his logic suggests that cases can be bought since their value will only increase further. According to him he personally has about a thousand cases so he doesn’t even know whether he should buy more.

At the same time it is worth recalling that Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov previously complained that he and his girlfriend lost a large amount of money on knife and glove skins in Dota 2 after the update with crafting in CS2.
