NS harshly criticized Valve for delaying the new Dota 2 patch

Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov is shocked by the lack of an update for Dota 2 after TI13. The content maker also stated that the meta at The International 2024 was one of the worst in the history of the tournament in terms of hero diversity.

The streamer shared his respective opinion in a private Twitch broadcast.

“The fact that there are no patches in Dota since the end of International, it's in a certain sense a shock and even somewhere I would call it a shame of some kind.

According to the statement of Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov, after the completion of The International 2024 the developers had the opportunity to eliminate all the shortcomings identified by pro-players, because of which the streamer is outraged by the fact that Valve has not even named the release date of the new update. Such a situation leads the streamer to the idea that the developers themselves do not know when the new patch will be released.

“It's telling that the balance is so-so. That there are heroes that are simply more effective than others. A number of heroes are not playable at all. And it would seem that here passed int, here you have a fairly large database of professional players on what is probably worth fixing, upgrade, cut, back and forth.

But no patch is not released, and has not been released for two weeks. And kind of promised the fourth act of the event. But where is that act of the event? Again, Valve didn't even bother to say the date. Like, guys, wait there, say, October 5, 7, 15, 1, whatever, just say the date. Even that wasn't said, apparently in view of the fact that they themselves don't know when.”

Continuing his point, Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov stated that Valve doesn't have anyone willing to work on Dota 2 development, which the streamer attributes the current problems in the game to. Content maker believes that it would be better for the developers to focus their efforts on the popular game, instead of wasting resources on the development of Deadlock.
