Ben “Noxville” Stinuizen, a well-known Dota 2 analyst, has warned pro players and Dota 2 dash-1 clubs not to use their secret strategies and new tactics anytime soon, or they may become known to their opponents.
He wrote on his X (Twitter) page.
“At least in the near future I wouldn't advise professional teams to reveal or show anything interesting in their training sessions. Unless of course you don't mind it ending up leaked”
He said that for now, players should not reveal any new tactics even in private training sessions with teammates. This was probably a reaction to a vulnerability in Dota 2 that allowed to watch replays of even closed matches and CW of cyber athletes.
Although Valve has already closed the vulnerability, the analyst still urged to refrain from revealing his cards, because perhaps this was not the only loophole to hack the game.
Recall that earlier a hacker hacked Dota 2, opening the closed statistics of pro-players, including even training and scrims matches.
