The hacker noted that he purposely opened access to even the private information of cyber athletes. According to him, he wanted to draw attention to the problem, because other hackers could have had access to this information for a long time and profited from it.

Probably, in this way the hacker wants Valve to pay attention to the vulnerability and block the loophole, so that the private information of players was safe.
