Evgeny “Noticed” Ignatenko believes that Patch 7.41e didn’t significantly impact the Dota 2 meta, but the esports player gave the updated MMR system a positive review.
The player shared this opinion on Telegram.
“Hi everyone! I’d like to share my thoughts on the recent update. Overall, it didn’t really affect gameplay or heroes—all meta heroes will remain meta, they’ve just become a bit weaker.
But they did reset the ratings, which might make matchmaking more interesting and competitive again. They also added the Compendium, bundles (including ours), and commentator phrases. As far as I’m concerned, there’s a lot of pretty interesting stuff—just take Cyberlight’s or Roger’s catchphrases, for example.”
According to a statement by Evgeny “Noticed” Ignatenko, the player believes that the MMR reset will positively impact the quality of matchmaking and also make the esports discipline more competitive. The esports player also spoke positively about the Compendium, bundles, and commentator quotes for TI15.
As a reminder, Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin previously shared his thoughts on the Dota 2 7.41e patch.
