No[o]ne named the meta Dota 2 heroes that are best to pick in matchmaking right now

Vladmir “No[o]ne” Minenko believes that there are currently 8 meta heroes that perform great on the mid lane — and they are the easiest ones to play in Dota 2 matchmaking.

The PARIVISION player talked about this in a new video on the club’s YouTube channel.

“I think that Nature's Prophet, Lesharak, Invoker, Puck, Storm Spirit, Queen of Pain, Pangolier and Primal Beast are the meta midlaners. In some way also Slardar and Ember Spirit. These are the ones that are in meta right now. After TI14 Beastmaster and Earthshaker droped out of the meta. They are either not picked anymore, or their winrate is very bad. Also Sand King. These three heroes almost droped out, no one picked them at all”

According to him, the best choices for pubs right now are Nature's Prophet, Leshrac, Invoker and Puck. No[o]ne also advises picking Storm Spirit, Queen of Pain, Pangolier and Primal Beast if the player plans to be a midlaner.

He noted that Slardar and Ember Spirit are still holding in the meta, while Beastmaster, Earthshaker and Sand King are no longer as strong as before. He said that before the Dota 2 world championship this trio was in the meta, but now they are almost never picked.
