Alexander “Nix” Levin believes that in the 7.41 patch for Dota 2, the developers have rolled back most of their work from recent years.
The streamer shared this opinion on Twitch.
“The lead developer committed harakiri. Everything he’s done all these years—he just rolled it back. He deleted all his work. They realized it was complete nonsense. They always used the same aspect. They realized there’s no point in them. The most important thing is that they’ll have to work if the aspects stay in the game.”
According to Alexander “Nix” Levin, the content creator finds the lead developer’s decision strange, as it will negatively impact his reputation. The streamer noted that Valve acknowledged the chosen direction for the game’s development was a mistake, which is why they decided to remove the aspects. Nix is also unhappy about the lack of a translation of the changelog for the new update two days after its release.
“They haven’t even translated it here; everything is in English. It’s a disgrace. 99% of your players are Russian-speaking, and you can’t even use machine translation to translate the patch. It’s been two days.”
As a reminder, earlier Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk named the carry heroes who will return to the Dota 2 meta after the release of patch 7.41.
