Alexander “Nix” Levin has stated that if he were an aspiring player, a tournament with a high prize pool could spark a content maker's interest in Deadlock.
The streamer shared a relevant opinion on Twitch.
“Deadlock is dead altogether, right? It's a shame, the game was so cool in general. I hope they come up with something.
If I was small... All right, if I was a kid, I'd be playing CS. Because cybersports is too important to me. But if they announced Int for 10 million, I'd definitely go to Deadlock to train.”
According to Alexander “Nix” Levin, the lack of major tournaments and exciting in-game events do not motivate players to develop in this game. The streamer believes that the current Deadlock audience is forced to play without a vision of clear prospects for the project, and also admits the possibility of a complete loss of interest in its development by Valve.
“But when you don't have any tournaments, compendium, skins, motivation to grind - it's hard, very hard. You have to play in the void in the hope that Valve will do something. And knowing Valve, you realize that they can do absolutely nothing.”
Recall that earlier Alexander “Nix” Levin noted that Deadlock's gameplay difficulty level was too high.
