Nix rated Rostislav_999's performance

Alexander “Nix” Levin considers Rostislav “Rostislav_999” Protasenya to be a weak player even at the matchmaking level, as he could create problems for his opponent only on Io, but knowing enough counterpicks for this hero is enough to counter streamer.

The content maker shared a relevant opinion on Twitch.

“Depends on who you compare it to. In my mind, he's a weak player. Even at the matchmaking level. He was always easy to play against. He could only cause problems on Io, but if you know the counterpicks of that character, no problem.”

According to Alexander “Nix” Levin, Io used to be one of the most broken heroes in Dota 2 meta, causing players of the level of Rostislav “Rostislav_999” Protasenya or Vladislav “Stariy Bog” Levenets to be able to win easily by actually mastering only one hero. As an example, the content maker cited a match at TI9, when in Team Liquid's match against OG, one of the players was able to defeat the entire opposing team on this character. However, Nix believes that such players are not proficient with the rest of the characters and are also poorly versed in Dota 2, both on a mechanical level and in terms of strategies.

Io used to be broken. That's why players like Stariy Bog and Rostik could win on it. Look at TI9 when Liquid played OG in the grand finals, where a dude would buy Aghanim and kill all the heroes solo. It used to be very broken. Io players don't understand anything about macro, they have no other pool and weak micro. They just don't understand the game. They learned a broken hero and that's it.”

As a reminder, Alexander “Nix” Levin previously described himself as one of the region's best carrys while playing as part of HellRaisers.
