Nix named the most challenging role in Dota 2 matchmaking

Alexander "Nix" Levin, a well-known streamer, said that in Dota 2 mid is the hardest but also one of the most interesting positions.

He shared this during a stream on Twitch.

“Mid is by far the most difficult and interesting role. It just has much more emphasis on skill. Also at the highest level of Dota, the carry is primarily about mental strength. The pressure put on him as a player to win is extreme because he carries games”

He also mentioned that playing carry role in DotA requires equal amount of difficulty. Nix stressed that selecting between either position becomes difficult since both are important for winning.

“It’s really tough to play mid when you have a terrible carry. You understand that you’ve done everything possible to get victory… and then this person can’t even perform simple tasks. Not because they don’t know how, but because they are *****… their brain just shuts off from fear and strain; there are so many mistakes caused by failure of their brains or bodies from fear and stress.” That’s why I’ve always been hesitating what to choose…”
