Virtus.pro is facing a disband or at least a serious reshuffle as per Alexander “Nix” Levin after being knocked out from Riyadh Masters 2024. Though, he added that the dota 2 division of the club will most likely remain active.

This Nix made this prediction during one of his twitch streams.

"We can congratulate Virtus.pro on their disband. Objectively, it was a deserved result—they played poorly. The only team worse was Azure Ray, but that's not certain since we didn't see their head-to-head match. Maybe Azure Ray would have beaten VP"

In his opinion, the team showed a truly poor performance, and he believes that a disband is inevitable. He clarified that the tag has a long history in Dota 2, so the division will not be closed.

"Reshuffle. First of all, VP is unlikely to close the Dota 2 division; after all, the tag has its own history and legacy. Of course, it has diminished significantly since the 'golden' roster days, but something remains"

He also mentioned that the first to be removed will likely be the team's coach and captain, Artem "Fng" Barshak, who are the core of the current roster.

"They need to reshuffle and try to poach players after The International. I believe the best way to build rosters is around a core. I think there will be a serious reshuffle. For example, minus God and Fng. The current core will be removed. I don't know if they will kick StrangeR and bring in another manager"

However, Nix fears that after The International 2024, the club may make decisions that won't be beneficial for the team, potentially disappointing fans.

"I don't know what actions will be taken. Usually, VP makes the worst decisions, so expect something like that. No offense to Virtus.pro, but... I don't know how people there think, but usually, you look and think: Wow, great"

Recall that Virtus.pro was one of the first to leave Riyadh Masters 2024, finishing in 17-18th place in the final standings. Many predicted that poor results would lead to their disband.
