Alexander "Nix" Levin left the professional Dota 2 scene due to mental health issues stemming from severe burnout.
The content creator made the corresponding statement during a personal Twitch stream.
"I think I would have gone insane, like iLTW, if I hadn't ended my career. Imagine, I signed up for therapy for the first time in my life because I was feeling so bad. I had thoughts of suicide. I couldn't play anymore. That was it, the end. I burned out too much."
The former esports athlete believes that Dota 2 occupied the top spot in his life for too long, which was the main reason for his burnout. The streamer considers such an approach erroneous, as balance should be sought in everything, but he did not understand this at that time. According to Nix's statement, motivational videos advising to work at full throttle only lead to mental disorders.
Alexander "Nix" Levin left professional Dota in February 2021 when he was moved to inactive status in
HellRaisers.

It is worth reminding that earlier, Alexander "Nix" Levin filed a complaint with Valve over dissatisfaction with the changes in the community casters' rules by ESL before DreamLeague Season 22.
