Alexander “Nix” Levin believes that Dota 2 has now become very boring and uninteresting for him. According to the streamer's statement, the game will lose its relevance for him if Valve will not urgently correct the situation.
The corresponding opinion the streamer shared with the viewers of his personal broadcast on Twitch.
“Dota has become so uninteresting, so boring, that if Valve urgently do not do something, then for me personally this game will die. If it's taking so long for a patch to come out now ...it's just impossible to watch it all. It's just such a stifling experience for the viewer.Exactly the changes they've made, what Dota has come to, is unwatchable for the viewer.
If before Dota was just very much moving towards team play, because of that you couldn't play by yourself, because you couldn't play solo, unless you're playing with your friends in a group and you can communicate, because obviously no one would want to communicate with you in a group in most cases, and without that communication it would be very hard to win and enjoy the game in general. Now they've ruined everything in competitive. The more they casualize the game, the more difficult it is for the viewer to watch, because aggressive play is not encouraged. Aggressive play is not encouraged at all. And the pros are just a mirror of the developers' changes. Professionals will always play the Dota that is most effective.”
Recently, Alexander “Nix” Levin stated plans to end his career as a Dota 2 streamer in the near future. The content maker stated that he doesn't know when that will happen, but he is tired of the game and has a hard time forcing himself to even log into it. However, the streamer added that if the developers can refresh the game, it might motivate him to start actively playing again.
Recall that earlier there was a conflict between Alexander “Nix” Levin and Alexander “TORONTOTOKYO” Hertek because the streamer criticized the performance of
BetBoom Team's sapporter at the ESL One Birmingham 2024 tournament.
