Nix explained why players are quitting Dota 2 and moving to League of Legends

Streamer Alexander "Nix" Levin said that League of Legends is a lot easier than Dota 2, which explains why many prefer the MOBA to Valve’s creation.

On one of his Twitch streams, he pointed out.

“Why do people play LoL instead of Dota 2? Because “Dota” is much more complicated. In LoL, there are no active items, denies, buybacks, glyphs … nothing.” Just learn four buttons and press them. Also, the map is twice as small there”

According to Nix though Dota 2 is a deeper game with several mechanics and complex strategic decisions on offer. On the other hand it has less real estate on its map and activatable items aren’t present in this game making it easier to understand for new players.

Interestingly enough Nix has attempted starting off with League of Legends on several occasions but he confessed that he could not force himself into playing it because it was pointless.On the contrary,Dota 2 stands among his best computer games ever.

Earlier however he stunned followers when he announced that he wanted to quit streaming Dota 2 completely and perhaps stop playing the game at all.
