Nix commented on patch 7.39, stating that mechanics from League of Legends have been introduced into Dota 2

Alexander “Nix” Levin said that Valve has transferred many League of Legends mechanics to Dota 2 in the new patch 7.39.

About this he told during a stream on Twitch.

“The patch is out now. Have you read it? No, but I want to. They added a lot of things there from League of Legends, a lot. Just all the chips that are convenient there: with settings, signals and something else. Interesting, I'd love to see it”

According to him, the developers adopted LoL's customizations, signal sounds and other mechanics and customizations of the game. Streamer even noted that after such significant changes, he may return to the game to try out the fresh update.
