Valve released an urgent update to Dota 2 after the release of patch 7.39, fixing many bugs that players complained about in matchmaking.
The developers responded quickly and fixed bugs with
Io and
Batrider, who could be seen by opponents all over the map - critically affecting the outcome of matches. The problem was that
Io remained visible on the map if he had previously used Tether under the enemy's view. A similar situation was with
Batrider, who would not disappear from the map after using Firefly in enemy view before entering Fog of War.
Full list of fixes in an urgent update:
New Immortal items can now be equipped as ability effects
Numerous interface (UI) fixes
Fixed the rarity of items from the new treasury
Fixed the visual effects of attacks when using the Seeker of the Crescent Wheel set.
Fixed an aspect of Sanctuary where the extra damage for each allied hero was unchanged
Refined the turn slowdown value of Sticky Napalm
Added Reel In ability to Ability Draft mode
Fixed display of Shadow Fiend's number of souls.
Earlier, Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko spoke frankly about patch 7.39 for Dota 2.
