Alexander "Nix" Levin, streamer and former esports player, announced that he plans to cover the playoffs of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 for CS2.
He shared this during a Twitch stream.
"Will you be casting the CS Major? I really wanted to. I even joined the casting group, but... I’ll probably watch the playoffs. I have a big interest in CS.
I watched the RMR. Not all the matches, but a lot. I was interested, they did it really well. I think Dota lacks something like that. When no one has invites, everyone sits and plays at the LAN.
It’s really interesting to watch teams that no one expects anything from. In the end, they make it through. You get a lot of emotions. The qualifiers for the main LAN tournament are really cool. We’ve lost that in Dota. Although in the past, 1500 teams would register for qualifiers for major tournaments, and now, at best, it’s three teams"
The streamer believes that there are still many exciting moments left in CS2’s pro scene that attract viewers but have been lost for Dota 2. Additionally, Nix admitted that CS2 is close to his heart and believes that casting the tournament will be enjoyable for both him and the viewers, as there could be many surprises for both players and fans at the championship.
It’s worth noting that earlier,
Team Spirit manager surprised everyone with a statement about Nix, revealing what he really thinks of him.
