Nikola “Niko” Kovač stated that Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski learned of his departure from Team Falcons’ Counter-Strike 2 roster shortly before the start of the IEM Rio tournament.

“It was a tough tournament for us. You already know the news that Kyxsan left the team, so we tried to end things on a high note and pull off another successful run. Maybe we even thought about repeating what we did with Degster at the tournament in Bucharest. Either way, respect to the whole team for giving it their all, especially Kyxsan. It wasn’t easy for him because he found out the news right before IEM Rio started.”
