An insider on Telegram channel published information according to which Evil Geniuses bought Egor «Nightfall» Grigorenko from Virtus.pro for $125,000.
For CIS region, this is the largest e-sports deal in terms of the amount of funds that the organization will receive in cash for one transfered player.
Transfers usually include other players that are exchanged between clubs. For example, when the same Virtus.pro bought a Dota 2 player, Vladimir «RodjER» Nikoghosyan from Ukrainian team Natus Vincere, the amount was $150,000, but the club received less than $100,000, since part of the amount was paid by the player's transfer from the Russian club.
The most expensive transfer in CIS was made in 2019, when Virtus.pro, bought out Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster from AVANGAR. The whole deal is valued at $1,2-2 million.
Nightfall joined Evil Geniuses before Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022, along with Jesse «JerAx» Vainikka.
