Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk believes that the replacement of Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov had a greater impact on
Team Spirit’s performance than Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov’s departure from the team.
The player shared this opinion on YouTube.
“I’ve noticed that the coach makes a much bigger difference than any individual player. In other words, when a single player is removed, it doesn’t have as big an impact as when the coach is replaced. That’s because the coach contributes a great deal both on and off the field. You essentially play the way the coach envisions it—in terms of movement and hero selection. Maybe not in terms of playstyle, I’d say, but the coach is the one who handles all these aspects. And when you get a new coach, your draft and your vision of the game can change drastically.”
According to Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, a coaching change has a greater impact on the team than the arrival of a new player. The esports player believes that the coach shapes the team’s gameplay, which is why working with a new coach significantly changes the team’s vision of the game and draft strategies, whereas replacing a single player does not have the same effect.
As a reminder, Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov previously revealed details regarding Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov’s departure from
Team Spirit.
