Valve may introduce a new Dota 2 hero before the grand finals of The International 2023

Traditionally, Valve announces new heroes before the conclusion of the main Dota 2 esports event. This year, this could happen on October 29, when The International 2023 grand finals are scheduled to take place.

These observations were shared by the Dota 2 dataminer's Telegram channel - Dota Stepan.

TI - Grand Finals Date - Announcement Date:

• The International 2017 - 12.08 - Dark Willow + Pangolier 11.08 (at the end of the day)

• The International 2018 - 25.08 - Grimstroke + Mars 24.08 (at the end of the day)

• The International 2019 - 25.08 - Snapfire 23.08 + Void Spirit 24.08

• The International 2021 - 17.10 - Marci 16.10

• The International 2022 - 30.10 - Muerta 30.10 (before the Grand Finals)

• The International 2023 - 29.10 - Unknown.

As of now, Valve hasn't made any official statements regarding the new hero, but it could very well be part of the grandiose final show of The International 2023.
