Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov,
Aurora support, admitted that his main motivation in eSports is money, and he plans to end his pro career as soon as he earns the necessary amount.
The two-time world champion revealed this during his post-match interview at the Riyadh Masters 2025.
- What motivates you?
- Money. Money and maybe a third Aegis with Inta. The rest is not that important.
- How much money would it take for you to stop performing?
- A million ten would be enough.
Mira noted that he is currently performing on the pro scene primarily to make money. However, he also admitted that he would like to win a third title at The International. However, according to him, if he earns $10 million, he will quietly end his career.
It should be noted that such a goal is extremely ambitious: even legends of the scene like N0tail and JerAx have earned $7.1 million and $6.4 million respectively. Mira himself currently has $5.6 million in prize money - an impressive sum, but there's still almost as much to go.
