Team Falcons allegedly changed the captain of the team due to unsatisfactory results, and now the leader of the team is not Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu, but Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf.
Such an insider shared by analyst Vladislav “Kozak” Lazurenko in his Telegram channel.
"According to my information, there have been important changes in Falcons. ATF became the captain instead of Sneyking, who held this position since 2021, since Tundra. Apparently, this is a way out of the results crisis that has been haunting the Falcons for a long time. But there are a lot of questions to such a reshuffle"
He noted that Sneyking had served as captain for four years, but because of questionable results on the pro scene, he was replaced by ATF. However, the analyst believes that such a replacement is unlikely to solve
Team Falcons problems.
"I've worked with Ammar. Undoubtedly, he has captaincy and leadership skills. But it is not easy to lead a team of such a high level on a permanent basis. It requires competence and experience of another level. I don't think this will solve the key problems of the team: the degradation of the team and individual level of play. Still, the Falcons style is built more on personal skill than on deep tactics and strategies"
According to him, although ATF has leadership qualities, it will have little impact on the results. Moreover, he noted that at the Riyadh Masters 2025, the roster failed to open up and some of their performances are alarming.
The club itself or ATF has not yet commented on this information or confirmed any changes in the lineup.
