Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov, who previously played for
Team Spirit, recently revealed that he has been contemplating changing his role from position four to position five, claiming he would be able to make more difference during games that way.
The esports player shared this while talking on a Twitch stream.
“There's always the feeling that I'm a position five. I feel like I don't belong in this role, not position four. I feed a lot, buy wards, and have minimal impact. A position five I need to be”
It is hard to judge whether he was saying that in earnest or not, however, some of the roles assigned in that team could be comprehended as a switch. Over the last couple of weeks Mira has taken on the role of a mid laner in 15 out of 24 matches over an 8 day period of time. The statistics appear to lend this remark some weight which is rather surprising because Mira won only 26.7% of his matches. It would be fair to suggest that Mira will don the role of a support on the professional scene.
Following a party which took place after The International, Mira became a source of controversy after claiming Sébastien "Ceb" Debs had assaulted him.
