Mira had to open 70 treasure chests to obtain the new Arcana in Dota 2

Former Team Spirit support Miroslav "Mira" Kolpakov was unlucky until his 70th Treasure chest where he opened the Compass of the Rising Gale Arcana for Windranger, which he received great displeasure in its drop rate.

He expressed his views during a live Twitch session.

Since there was a very low chance for this reward to drop, Mira had a big investment on the Arcana which was in demand. So it's safe to assume that, when the Winter 2024 Heroes' Hoard spectrum goes for level up $3, this 2x world champion skin he wanted for the hero ended up costing him something over $200.

It’s important to highlight that according to gamers, the first-case drop rate of the Ode to Agility is only 0.001 seconds through the drop of the Compass of the Rising Gale now. Taking a look at the drops past the first case, when considering the drop after 10 cases, the chances of getting the arcana has gone up to 0.8%

So naturally, it is not surprising to learn that some of them never get the arcana even after “working hard” opening 70 treasures.

A week ago, it was announced that $130 may be the upper limit for the price of the new Windranger Arcana referring to the drop rate considered.
