The new Arcana for Windranger may cost $130 due to the extremely low drop chance

The Fluttering Breeze Arcana for Windranger, which is now available as part of the Winter Hero Hoard, could set players back around $130 considering the drop rate is under One Percent.

Netizens have crunched the numbers and say that to have at least a fifty percent shot of getting the Fluttering Breeze, players would need to buy roughly 43 treasure chests. The drop rate increases with each chest opened. Winter 2024 Hero Hoard estimates the first opening to net a reward which is around 0.001% expensive, and so does the ten attempts, this only takes it to around 0.8% - based on players' estimates.

According to the claim, after Fifty treasure chests are opened, the probability increases to 65.4%. By this point, it is expected that a majority of the players expect to have received the desired reward from the chest. However, even with such a large amount of treasure chests there is still the possibility that the Fluttering breeze will not drop.

The Windranger Arcana can also be gotten without opening the Winter 2024 Hero Hoard, but players would have to wait until the summer of the year 2025 when the set will be released to be sold. In which case though the Arcana may actually sell for much more, most likely more than the hundred dollars mark.
