Miposhka names the reason for Team Spirit’s defeats after his departure

Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naydenov, the former captain of Team Spirit, stated that the reason for the team’s losses after his departure lies in limited drafts — the players need to expand their hero pool.

The two-time Dota 2 world champion spoke about this during a Twitch stream.

“I think Team Spirit need to work more on their drafts. At BLAST they had a very limited pool. They rely on a small number of ideas. Sometimes they get lost in drafts, don’t fully understand what to focus on. Sometimes they simply lack practice with meta heroes. For example we didn’t see Chen”

Miposhka noted that the roster was eliminated from BLAST Slam 6 so early because of overly simple drafts. In his opinion the draft was not fully thought through, and was built too straightforwardly. He emphasized that during hero picks, the inexperience of the player responsible for drafting was immediately noticeable,

It is worth noting that drafts at Team Spirit are currently handled by Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, who himself took the initiative to work on picks. In other words Miposhka believes that his former teammate is still not experienced enough in terms of drafting which affects the results.
