Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov believes that his drafts gave
Team Spirit a significant advantage in their match against
Team Nemesis at the 2026 Esports World Cup.
The coach and former captain of
Team Spirit made this statement on Telegram.
“Hi, everyone. The series against Nemesis is over. We’ve already had a chance to eat. Right now, we’re recording this kind of content for you. How did the series go? 2–0. Not exactly flawless, but first, for example, I’ll note that the draft was perfect. We had a very large margin for error.
Yes, there were a few minor mistakes early on; we weren’t quite able to play at our best. I could just feel in my heart that it was going to be a walk in the park. The second map was a bit more dangerous. After all, our opponents had Beastmaster and Enigma—they had a very well-balanced pick, and their strategy was clear.
It was a little nerve-wracking and risky. Then they got caught a couple of times here and there. After that, I wasn’t really worried anymore. Now we’ll get ready for Liquid. See you tomorrow.”
Miposhka acknowledged that the team’s players made some minor mistakes and didn’t demonstrate their best team gameplay, but in the end, the match turned out to be fairly easy for his team. Nevertheles, on the second map, the
Team Spirit coach praised their oponents for their hero picks, acknowledging that
Team Nemesis managed to pose a chalenge for his players.
As a reminder, earlier Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk commented on
Team Spirit’s loss on the second map of their match against
MOUZ.
