Yatoro Cited the Main Reason for Team Spirit’s Loss

Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk stated that Team Spirit lost the second map against MOUZ at the Esports World Cup 2026 Dota 2 tournament due to their opponents’ more advantageous draft.

The player made this statement on Telegram.

“The second map turned out to be tougher. They had very good heroes; it was hard for us to play. They essentially shut down three lanes, and it was already difficult to make a comeback. We’ll draw our conclusions and play tomorrow.”

According to Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, the team will try to learn from this loss to achieve better results in upcoming matches. The player also acknowledged that the first map of the match was very difficult for Team Spirit, but his team was still able to turn the tide of the game in their favor.

“The first map was very tough; our opponents really tried to overwhelm us. Basically, Mouz is a pretty fast-paced team. They managed to overwhelm our soft lane. We had two other strong lanes, which allowed us to stage a comeback.”
