Markeloff рассказал what S1mple is really like

Egor “markeloff” Markelov, a former teammate of Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev, said that it was actually very hard to play with the legend of the pro scene, but outside of CS2 he is a good and responsive person

He said this during an interview with HLTV.

“It’s no secret that its very difficult to play with him. Sometimes s1mple was very harsh, but outside the game he is really a nice guy. But in the game he was much better than all of us at that moment. It wasn’t a secret. And of course he wanted more, more and more, and he saw that we couldn’t keep up with his level. He was constantly frustrated and it continued in all other teams because no one could even get close to him”

Markeloff noted that S1mple was the best player on the pro scene, but he constantly told him that he needs to respect teammates and keep some thoughts to himself. According to him, the star player had problems with controlling emotions, which also prevented him from reaching his full potential

Nevertheless he also said that S1mple behaved great outside the game, and you could even think it was a different person. He explained that this behavior in game was because the player wanted to reach the highest level and demanded maximum not only from himself, but from others as well
