Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, the midlaner of
Team Falcons, said that his team literally gave away the victory to
Tundra Esports at BLAST Slam 4, because the players got too relaxed.
The esports player commented on the team’s loss in his Telegram channel
“Hey everyone. I can’t record a video circle, so I’ll just write it down here. Overall, everyone saw everything — we literally gave away the win, the game was really easy. And even when we repeated the drafts, we were leading so much, but just let the victory slip from our hands. I’m not too upset — somehow I stopped getting nervous at tournaments. I guess it’s the time when constant practice and tournament play started to affect my calmness. Maybe not the best Puck performance, but I tried my best. Thanks everyone for the support! Next time I’ll try to do better”
According to him, the game was going really easy, and
Team Falcons were leading so confident on the decider map that at some point they lost focus. As a result,
Tundra Esports, according to the midlaner, took advantage of that and turned the game around.
Malr1ne noted that he tries to stay calm and not stress too much about loses, and also promised to play better in the next tournament, thanking the fans for their support.
Earlier,
Tundra Esports called their victory at BLAST Slam 4 a lucky one, pointing out the key moment.
