Vladimir "Maelstorm" Kuzminov revealed that he was offered to participate in a match-fixing scheme to earn money from supposedly insider information.
The well-known commentator shared this in his Telegram channel.
"I just got an offer to participate in a **** match-fixing scheme. Not just for Dota, but for everything. It's a 'reliable as Swiss watches' plan. I’m thinking of either telling them to **** off or ignoring them *****"
Maelstorm did not specify who made the offer but detailed that the scheme involved betting based on 'verified' information. He described the offer as the most shady he has ever encountered.
"They just proposed to bet money based on 'trust.' I've never heard of a more dubious **** in my life"
Earlier, Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov discussed match-fixing among tier-1 Dota 2 players.
