NS Dota 2 money

Yaroslav Kuznetsov, or Yaroslav NS Kuznetsov – a former esports player and streamer – believes that match-fixing is awful in Dota 2 pro scene. According to him, most Tier 1 players do not think of engaging in such activities as, apart from money, they want to prove themselves as best.

This was shared during a Twitch stream by NS.

“The match-fixing story is quite disgusting. I have never accepted it. It’s deception, craving for easy gain and desire to get a lot without any effort. I’ve never liked it. Real people are involved in this process”

He emphasized that while the temptation of making quick money might seem appealing, there have been hardly any cases of match-fixing schemes at the Tier 1 level. According to NS, this is because players want to be winners and not money losers; they want to participate in tournaments and win them.

“And many do not want it at all **** . Because match-fixing represents cheating and deception on his part. A person wants to win tournaments—it's not interesting to throw matches for money. They prefer getting rich through winning and showing off their strength. An athlete wants to win; that’s why he rejects most Tier 1 players; simply put, they do not like all these things at all—they just need tournaments' victories”

Recall that earlier a scandal occurred during Elite League season 2 where one of the participants from one of the teams has been permanently banned by Valve for participating in match fixing scandals?
