Vladimir “Maelstorm” Kuzminov explained that
Aurora refused to play at PGL Wallachia Season 6 not because of a disband, but due to the packed tournament schedule in this Dota 2 season.
The commentator shared this on his Telegram channel.
“What does a disband have to do with it? Obviously, the team is actually on the rise and playing much better than they could. It’s just, as I said before, the tournament schedule is *****”
According to him,
Aurora is currently playing quite well and even exceeding expectations. The club clearly has no plans to disband the roster mid-season. Maelstorm noted that the real reason for skipping a prestigious tournament is the schedule.
He also mentioned that the competition schedule is extremely tight, which the players themselves have complained about. Some official matches literally overlapped, and there were situations where players had to play one match just to make it to another official match.
Nevertheless,
Aurora themselves have not yet announced an official reason for refusing to participate in PGL Wallachia Season 6.
