Mad Kings announced the termination of contracts and disbanded their Dota 2 roster following the scandalous ban of Steven "StingeR" Vargas in the qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 22. Additionally, the esports organization is temporarily withdrawing from the discipline.
The corresponding announcement was posted on the club's official Twitter page.

"We acknowledge and adhere to the rules set by Valve. As these rules were violated, we have decided to end our collaboration with estar_backs. At the moment, we will suspend our participation in competitions but will continue to create content for our followers"
Furthermore, the club clarified that the ban on StingeR's main account was not related to boosting. However, they did not disclose the actual reason for the Valve ban, but the situation seems serious enough to lead to the termination of the contract with the entire estar_backs lineup.
"During our match against Thunder Awaken, StingeR's account was banned by Valve, along with many others, for sharing the account with third parties, and he was unable to continue the match. We want to emphasize that the reason for the account ban was not boosting, contrary to what Mini stated"
The future plans of the players are not yet clear, and StingeR himself has not commented on the controversial situation. Due to his sudden ban, he was unable to continue the match, and his team was awarded a technical loss in the game.
Mad Kings roster:
David "Parker" Nicho Flores
Ricardo "Alone" Fernandez
Frank "Frank" Ayala
Miguel "Michael-" Gomez
Steven "StingeR" Vargas
