Korb3n Comments on Team Spirit's Losses

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov considers it normal for Team Spirit to experience slumps in performance following major victories.

The Dota 2 team manager made this statement on Twitch.

“What’s so surprising about losses? Well, it happens. The environment changes, the competition changes, players get burned out or tired.

It’s impossible for a team to win all year long. There hasn’t been a single such precedent in Dota—not a single one. There were mini-eras with the Gladiators and Falcons.”

According to Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov, players get tired over time, and circumstances on the pro scene gradually change, making it impossible to win every tournament in a season. The Team Spirit manager believes that there have been no such precedents in esports yet, with the exception of brief periods of dominance by Gaimin Gladiators and Team Falcons.
