Ilya “M0nesy” Osipov said that he doesn't care about Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's return to the Steam library, as the esports player didn't miss the game.
The player's statement was posted on Telegram.
"The return of CS:GO... To be honest, it doesn't really matter, I didn't miss it... It will probably remain like CS 1.6. Maybe people will run mixes for fun. Who knows."
According to Ilya “M0nesy” Osipov's statement, the esports player believes that the game will be available for download, following the example of CS 1.6. The player noted that individual fans will play CS:GO for entertainment.
It is worth noting that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was previously available for download on Steam as an outdated version of CS2. However, the developers recently added it to the library as a separate game.
Earlier, Valve announced that it would not issue licenses for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments after the game's return to the Steam library.
