Korb3n spoke about the oddities in PARIVISION’s recent matches

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov found PARIVISION drafts in recent matches strange, considering the team’s less-than-stellar form.

The Team Spirit manager shared this during a Twitch stream.

“I don’t really understand what PARI are trying to achieve with their drafts. I just read that Ducalis said their form is 5 out of 10, and they’re supposedly just coming back into the big scene. Yet they pick Kez, with whom they have a zero win rate. And then they take Storm on carry and QoP in mid — the overall draft just looks odd. I don’t have anything against it, but usually, you do things like this when your form isn’t 5 out of 10. Because if your form is 5 out of 10 — you should be winning with your normal heroes”

He explained that the team itself admits they aren’t in top form, yet they still pick very unusual heroes. Korb3n emphasized that there’s nothing inherently wrong with it, but given that PARIVISION is just returning to the pro scene, such risky drafts look strange.

The manager was particularly surprised by the picks of Kez and Storm Spiritt on carry, and he doesn’t understand what the team is trying to achieve with these hero choices.

It’s worth noting that Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potoraq received a lifetime ban from Valve in Dota 2.
