Korb3n revealed how Miposhka actually got injured before an important tournament

Yaroslav "Miposhka" Naydyonov played at ESL One Birmingham 2024 with a broken leg, since he got the injury during a football match with his Team Spirit teammates before the tournament.

This was revealed by Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov, the Team Spirit manager, during his Twitch stream

“Miposhka makes a pass — the first touch of the ball. Our team was a bit worse, they had Airat who was like a professional, Mira too. Yarik passes, Maga to me, we score a goal, open the score, celebrate. Yarik screams and falls. We look at him for the first time like, ‘Is he trolling?’ — and keep celebrating. I only believed he was actually in pain after around ten minutes. We came up to him and said, ‘You trolling? Get up!’ And he said, ‘It hurts, I can’t’”

Korb3n noted that the situation happened when their former captain made a pass and the teammates scored a goal. At first, the player fell, and everyone thought he was just celebrating, so they didn’t believe right away that he was actually hurt

They started to figure it out only after ten minutes, when Miposhka said he couldn’t stand up. It turned out that he really had a fracture and had to play at ESL One Birmingham 2024 wearing a cast.

The injury affected the team’s results — Team Spirit finished second to last at the tournament.
