Korb3n explained why Satanic and Yatoro actually play in show-tournaments

Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov said that in reality Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk and Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov play only for fun and to help their friends, because prize money isnt important for them.

The Team Spirit manager said this during a stream on Twitch.

“Tier-1 players perform at BetBoom Streamers Battle just for fun, why do they need prize money? Playing for fun with friends. Why would a tier-1 player need prize money from Streamers Battle? I’ll give an example with carries. Both Satanic and Yatoro — they dont need these prizes. How much for first place? 4 thousand dollars lets say. It wont change anything for them”

According to him, prize pools at show-tournaments are too small for tier-1 players. Korb3n emphasized that even 4 thousand dollars are not very big money for players like Yatoro or Satanic. He explained that such events are just entertainment for them, and sometimes they join to help friends too.

Its worth noting that earlier Denis “Larl” Sigитов literally shocked the Dota 2 community with the size of his salary in Team Spirit, saying that Yatoro earns even more.
