Dmitry “Korb3n” Belov stated that Quinn Callahan could have continued his career with at least two more teams, but left the pro scene due to the nuances of his contract with
Gaimin Gladiators.
The
Team Spirit manager revealed this during a Twitch stream.
“We don't know what's going on with the contracts, maybe it's a 3-year contract, and he's going to deal with it now. That's why he can't play and has decided to end his career”
Korb3n noted that despite the community's attitude towards Quinn, he is a good mid laner and has shown good play this year. According to the manager, the esports player could have continued playing for several more years, so he suggested that the issue may be related to the contract.
He explained that Quinn may have signed a multi-year contract with
Gaimin Gladiators , which prevented him from transferring to another team. Korb3n believes that this may be the reason why the player had to announce his departure, and now he will deal with legal issues with the organization.
Earlier, Artur “Arteezy” Babaev announced his return to Dota 2 and may join a European team.
