Kiyotaka commented on Aurora's defeat

Gleb “Kiyotaka” Zyryanov considers Team Liquid to be the most likely winners of the Riyadh Masters 2025 tournament, but singles out Team Spirit and BetBoom Team as the team's main opponents.

The Aurora player spoke about this on Telegram.

“I think Liquid. They are currently in good form and have picked up momentum. The only ones who can oppose them are Spirit, by some miracle, or BetBoom Team. But Liquid will still be the favorites in both matches.”

The player also commented on the reasons for Aurora's defeat in the first playoff match against PARIVISION. The esportsman was dissatisfied with the team's draft on the decisive third map, especially with his hero Shadow Fiend, and also noted the team's unpreparedness for their opponents' strategies. According to Gleb “Kiyotaka” Zyryanov, a more successful draft would have made the match easier for the team. The player admitted that the opponents surprised his team with their strategies, which caused Aurora to lose all three lanes on the final map.

"Most likely, we were poorly prepared for their strategies. We drafted incorrectly on the third map — I took Shadow Fiend with the eighth pick, although we could have drafted differently. I think it would have been easier for us to play that way. We were surprised by the lane swap on the third map, which caused the side lanes to go wrong. I had a creep with Mana Burn in mid, which prevented me from laning constantly. We lost all three lanes — we were simply crushed.

Earlier, Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov commented on Aurora's elimination from EWC 2025 after their defeat to PARIVISION.
