iNSaNiA spoke out about MATUMBAMAN's captaincy of Team Liquid

Aiden 'iNSaNiA' Sarkoi stated that before The International 2022, Team Liquid's roster was on the verge of losing a slot at the tournament, however, things started to get better when Aukusti 'MATUMBAMAN' Urpalainen started taking charge of the team's draft picks.

The player shared the relevant opinion on YouTube.

“Then we had a very tough year. We had good results online, but we played terribly when we came to LAN tournaments. As I remember, the team felt very desperate. We started to realize that there was a possibility that we might not make it to TI.

After some time, we played some scrimmages before the qualifiers for The International 2022 and MATUMBAMAN suggested that he handle the drafting. Thus, the draft duties went from zai to MATUMBAMAN.”

Aiden 'iNSaNiA' Sarkoi admitted that due to the problems that developed, the rest of the players felt ashamed of Ludwig 'Zai' Wahlberg as they felt they were ruining their teammate's career. However, according to the cyber athlete, when Aukusti 'MATUMBAMAN' Urpalainen started handling the drafts, it became much more comfortable to play.

“zai was very sad about it and said, 'What have I done? Why did I come to this team?” It felt like we were all ruining zai's career.

I remember that MATUMBAMAN heroes became a lot easier to play. It was like we didn't have to say anything to each other at all, you just look at the characters and immediately know what each one should do. Everything was very, very transparent - we didn't feel that way before.”

Recall that earlier Aiden “INSaNiA” Sarkoi spoke about the conflict with Team Liquid teammate Samuel “Boxi” Svan.
